Pipit Global is delighted to announce the appointment of John Kurton to the position of Group Director of Sales.

John joined Pipit in 2018 bringing over 25 years experience in Business Development in the prepaid sectors of telecoms, worldwide phone card distribution, and the development and launch of prepaid MVNO networks.  

Since joining Pipit John has used his considerable business development skills in the fintech sector to forge relationships with clients globally, securing agreements with Bill Pay, Mobile Money, Ewallets, Crypto, and cross-border eCommerce businesses.

John has set his focus next year on continuing Pipit's network expansion to build on the current base of over one million collection points, and to maintain and accelerate the growth in Pipit's B2B client base. 

Commenting on the appointment, Pipit Global CEO Ollie Walsh said: "John has been a major force in Pipit's growth over the last three years.  His knowledge and experience of the fintech and telco sectors, plus his extensive international business network and his dedication and drive have proved to be invaluable assets to the company." 

John is a lifelong supporter of Everton FC, and a keen sportsman whose days begin early at 7 am with 10kg vest circuits at his local gym.
