As CFO, Kevin is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction at Pipit. Within finance, he guides the controller, treasury, shareholder relations, accounting, tax, and internal audit functions to pursue the company’s aggressive growth strategy and meet its clients’ and investors’ expectations.
Kevin has over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Kevin started his career in KPMG and then moved to BDO where he was a Managing Partner. Kevin left BOD at the height of the financial crisis to focus on helping struggling companies to not only survive, but to prosper.
Throughout his career in accounting and financial planning, Kevin has established a reputation for building world-class teams and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth.
Kevin has led multiple equity and debt financing, in particular Series A, Series B and right through to Initial Public offerings Dublin, London & New York.
As well as being a qualified and experienced mediator, he holds a Diploma in International Financial Standards and a B. Comm from NUIG. As well as his position in PiP iT, Kevin lectures accounting in National University of Ireland Galway (ranked globally in top 1% of universities) and his book on FRS 100 has been published by Chartered Accountants Ireland.
