After a very competitive process, PiPiT has been selected as one of eleven companies to participate in Village Capitals first European accelerator - Finance Forward 2020.
Village Capital are the world’s leading Impact investor and have chosen eleven companies with FinTech related social impact mission to participate in the accelerator, specifically ‘companies trying to improve the financial health of low income individuals in Europe’.
Originally to be staged in Dublin and Berlin, the accelerator is now of course, virtual.
"Participating in this accelerator will really help us build on the progress we have made over the last few years by further developing our network and connections to merchants" says Ollie Walsh Co Founder and CEO of PiPiT. "as well as help PiPiT to position itself for future investment rounds".
The other winners on the accelerator are CreditStretcher, Elifinity, Student Finance, Worig, Trlljo, Finclude, Vested, Libeen, Portabl and Finmarie
Ollie continues, "PiPiT is driven by its Social Impact mission to help the Financially Excluded, specifically helping migrants support their families at home in a cheaper and safer way. We are also a collaboration-based business and we believe in supporting any company we can in the Impact ecosystem.
