There were interesting talks from Dr. Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School, UL, who spoke about the importance of Reflection (Feedback), Recognition (Appreciation), and Rejoice (Appreciation) in our approach to business; and from Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen.
After lunch, Gerry Hussey, of theawakening.ie had us in the palm of his hand during his keynote which left us all with some clear takeaways – from living in the moment to knowing or finding our ‘why?’.
Last but not least was Liz Collins, from Debra Ireland who shared her personal story with us. Her resilience, determination and positivity was acknowledged by all with an immediate standing ovation and applause and there was hardly a dry eye in the house.
We are delighted that PiP iT has been recognised as a ‘best in class’ company - for the way we approach and manage our business. We are proud of what we’ve achieved over the past few of years and how PiP iT has grown. We are a Social Impact company and core to our mission is to benefit society. It's very rewarding to have that acknowledged by the All Ireland Business Foundation.
2018 was a good year for PiP iT, - we’ve finished our funding round, built a strong team, secured 12 business partners and have a packed pipeline from around the world looking to partner with us.
It’s still early days for PiP iT and we have a long way to grow, but achievements like this bring us closer to our goals.
